Terms of Service

Primerfy is a browser-based focus space with guided focus rituals, a focus timer, ambient scenes, adaptive binaural and ambient sounds, and camera-free co-working rooms ("Focus Jams"). You can use the core space without an account. Primerfy Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional scenes, unlimited adaptive sound mixing, unlimited Focus Jam hosting and joining, Focus Intelligence analytics, and cloud-synced streaks. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

If you create an account, provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you use Primerfy as a guest, your timer history and settings are stored only in your browser and may be lost if you clear your browser data.

• New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. You need to add a payment method to start it. Each customer can use the free trial once.
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you are charged the price shown at checkout. It then renews and charges you at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
• Prices are shown before you subscribe. Taxes may be added where required.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
• If we change the price of your plan, we will email you before the new price takes effect on your next renewal, so you have time to cancel.

You can cancel at any time from the Billing button in the app, or by emailing support@primerfy.com. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel after that, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

If you are charged for a renewal you did not intend, such as forgetting to cancel before your trial ended, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. Otherwise, payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

When using Primerfy, you agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or try to access it in ways we do not intend.
• Post abusive, harassing, unlawful, or spammy text in Focus Jam intentions or shared room links.
• Copy, resell, or redistribute Primerfy, its scenes, or its sounds.
• Reverse engineer the service or scrape it with automated tools.
• Share your account or misuse the free trial.

Primerfy is a productivity tool, not a medical device or treatment. Its sounds, including phase-aware binaural tones (6Hz to 40Hz), are meant to create a pleasant focus atmosphere, and results vary from person to person. Keep the volume at a comfortable level. Do not use binaural audio while driving or operating machinery. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, or a hearing condition, talk to a health professional before using binaural audio.

Primerfy, including its design, code, scenes, and sounds, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use Primerfy for your own focus sessions while you follow these terms.

Primerfy is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running smoothly, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that your locally stored data will never be lost.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Primerfy. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

You can stop using Primerfy at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. If we end your access without cause, we will refund any unused part of a prepaid billing period.

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects subscribers, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Primerfy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
